I was born on December 26, 1956. l decided to write this book because I never really got interested in my history and where l come from and my past but, as I got older, I thought that I should write my story for my children and grandchildren. As the story developed.

I realised that this will be of interest to many people as it involves so much more than my immediate family. I hope you agree.
